80/20 CFD Simulation Subscription Pricing and Packages

Over the years we have found that many companies have an irregular need for Engineering Simulation Software tools, so we are pleased to introduce an exciting new On-Demand Subscription service: 80/20 CFD.

Irregular use of a ‘paid-up’ or ‘fixed term’ software tool can mean a lower return on investment and is also harder for engineers to maintain the skills needed to drive the simulation process. This new initiative from 80/20 Engineering eliminates these issues and allows companies to also use our engineering consulting experience and resources at no additional charge. We are now able to offer the following packaged CFD Subscription services which include the set-up of the simulation models:

The above table is for a ‘Standard’ Version of Simerics-MP. There are also ‘Professional’ and ‘Premium’ Versions which contain the additional physics modules available (50% uplift increments respectively). Each CFD Subscription period includes the set-up of the simulation case to be run* and a Web based hand-over tutoring session.

*Simply submit your exported assembly geometry via our secure FTP service in either STEP, Parasolid, ACIS format or as the native CAD geometry as a zip file: Request access to our secure FTP site here or email us info@upfronteng.com

Once the geometry is uploaded with a brief description of the development challenge or the improvement in performance you’d like to achieve, we will confirm our acceptance of your eligibility for a subscription account. Alternatively, we would be delighted to host a Web meeting to discuss your application further.

CFD Driven Shape Optimization Subscription

80/20 Engineering can set you up so that you are ready to optimize your own products or systems. The solution provides 100 or 200 of CPU hours of optimization time on your own computer which can be coupled with our CFD subscription service above or integrated within your own CFD environment. We will set-up the model for each subscription taken free of any additional charge. The following table illustrates the respective costs depending upon how many design variables you wish to consider:

80/20 CFD Subscriptions do not include the Fluid Machinery Templates. Should you be located outside the UK and have a Positive Displacement Machinery design requirement, then please do still get in touch so we can discuss what’s possible.
